Made It!

Rogue Galaxy has made its way here, something to keep me busy while the internet continues to mess up. I just don't know what's wrong with ours. There's always some kind of problem that occurs when we use it. We finally got it back and working..for the moment, and then it decides to go haywire. Strange strange strange.

Net surprisingly is acting like a jerk tonight. I can't do much, I'm surprised I was even able to sign into here.

Forgetful.

Sometimes I wonder why I even say that I would go back to edit things when I don't. First of all, I usually forget what happens one day by the next day if the previous day didn't have any memorable things! But, it was one of my best friend's birthday yesterday. Good times. I won't dive into details, too tired, like always. It doesn't hit me until late that I haven't written anything. But I did do something organizing today, what with drawings and all. I made a tinypic account to organize things that I draw and things that I receive from other people! Now I just need to work on a few other things.

Birthdays

I should probably try not posting so late all the time, will come back to edit.

Bad Internet

Oh no, the second time that I've missed a day. But I can't really help it what with me being sick and knocking out randomly followed by screwy internet connections. I would say more but I don't know how stable the connection is at the moment.

Un-smart

Screw those "professional" workers over at AT&T, the landlord showed them up! Too tired from being ill to get into the details, but aside from that negative stuff, there's finally great news! We now have working telephone lines, and that means, we have our own internet again. I was beginning to wonder if we'd ever get it back, thank goodness to the help of the landlord.

I'm thinking of maybe trying Aion Online. It did catch my eye way back when, around when it was first brought up and spoken about. What pulled me in even more was rumors that I may be free to play, but now with it's release, it's not unfortunately. It does look like a beautiful game, similar to WoW, but a lot of MMO's nowadays are pretty much based off one or another with minor tweaks and what not.

Vanilla Twilight

Lately I've been obsessing myself with Owl City, the album 'Ocean Eyes' specifically, and I even drew a little something connected to the the song 'Vanilla Twilight,' which is currently eating away at my soul. One of my favorites on the album, actually, almost every single song on the album is a favorite to me, but this is the song that has that "oomph" and stands out more personally. It's angelic, it's relaxing, etc, I don't even know how I'd even begin to describe the song. I know I made a start, but I won't be able to stretch it on due to my own speechlessness.

New Discovery

I've discovered something new, although I think that he may have been known for a while, it just took me some time to notice. Today marks the day that I was officially introduced to Owl City. I had not heard their hit single 'Fireflies' from them, but rather, I heard them from fans singing covers before hearing the actual thing. I got a hold of his album, and it's, amazing. That's all I can say, he's got great musical talent within him followed by a very soothing voice. I have not liked a male singing voice since Last Alliance, and this album highly impressed me. Electronica is a part of the music he produces followed by other genres, but I kind of forgot them. Highly recommended album to music lovers.

Still Nothing.

Still no fixed phone lines...I really do wonder what that company is doing. I can't say or do much, this cold medicine is really powerful with its drowsyness effect. I'm having less and less to say nowadays, what with no stable net connection and being sick. Maybe I'll just discontinue this blog and just focus on art posting in a secondary blog.

Yes, there is food in the house again! We went grocery shopping, but lets see how long it lasts us this month.

Boring With Spiders

Not much happened besides family visiting. Spiders crawling around my room of course, some in hard to reach places, especially when there are so many things blocking the way! Hopefully I won't have such short entries once I have a stable internet connection. Then I can start up a second blog based on Gaia alone.

No Show

Waiting on the net to get here. Hopefully everything is fine is ready by tomorrow. So far, no one has showed up yet, for the t.v. and for the phone line.

Down

Connection issues today. Worse than it would be usually for some reason, but then again, this signal that I've been getting has been pretty low from the beginning. Our own line should be here by Thursday, so far away..

Regulating

Things are finally beginning to settle down somewhat. Now all that's really needed is unpacking boxes, unbagging bags, and putting things into their place in the house. Still so much stuff and so many things that I need to find.

Almost Finished

I think that we're about finished with moving most of the things from the old house into this new one. All that's left really is those major things like phone/internet/etc. That and some mumbo jumbo with the landlord. Reorganized my room quite a few times today, but not sure how I'd like it exactly. Always room for experimenting with the layout in the future.

Home, Stress, Jerks.

Halloween is tomorrow, and it looks like I won't be able to make it to that Halloween party that my best friend invited me to. With all this moving around and such, I haven't had much time to do anything else really. On top of that, there would have been no way for me to get a costume with no money on myself, and I'm not going to ask my sister because she's already spent so much towards this house and other members in the family.

My eldest sister living with us on the other hand, is an idiot, rude, and disgusting. How dare she have the nerve to bark out commands when she does virtually nothing at all. Loading and unloading, she barely moved anything, lifting? Forced upon me. Claims she cleaned the house, but nothing looked any different, and in turn, made me clean both toilets in the house, causing me to throw up at one point, and receive a headache from all of the cleaners.

A lot of the things that I got yelled at to lift, were no light objects. I had a lot of difficulty, but all that comes out of her mouth is, "If dad can lift it, so can you, he's weaker and older and sick." And I just think to myself, how stupid can you be? I lack a whole lot of physical strength, and this body is much smaller compared to my father. How stupid can you be to not know you'll need some kind of muscle to lift heavy objects? Sick or not, he's had is years of muscle build up, though he struggles, he's still able to carry most of the things in the house, whereas if I tried, I would be crushed and topple over from the weight. I wouldn't even be able to pick it up.

My mother even agrees that she does nothing, followed by my middle sister. All she does is move about one thing, look at her nails, and leaves somewhere. Currently, she's not even helping to clean the older home, and instead, is out whoring with her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend, I don't even know anymore. She probably even has somebody on the side.

For sure by the time she comes home, she's going to yell at me for not having the house be clean and blah, blah, blah. I did my part, it's about time that she did hers. Sure, my middle sister bought a new computer desk and had trouble setting it up, all my elder sister was set it up for her and claims she did the greatest thing in the house. Big whoo, if you're going to talk about cleaning the house, I suggest you contribute to it to rather than just bark out commands.

In Slight Pain

It looks like a majority of household items have made it into the new house, with the exception of certain appliances. My muscles are sore from moving things around, but that's what happens when you don't exactly take care of your body for a while and try to do things that require physical strength.

I'm starting to get into the habit of doing some stretches and exercises now that I have my own room and space. It's a slow process that'll build up over time. Aside from the stretches, I'm slowing working on sit ups...that is, when I can actually do them again. I only managed to pull of crunches, five and working up. Same thing goes for push ups.

Transferring Big

Today we transported a ton of things over. We still have a long way to go, but a majority of the small and easy things have made it over. We took a trip to Wal-Mart to further personalize the rooms and house. More house cleaning to come later on tonight.

Other than moving, a new song by Namie aired on the radio today! I personally like it, some may say that it's repetitive, but hey, a lot of songs tend to be repetitive. So soothing and relaxing followed by a great beat. I can't wait for the release of this up and coming studio album!

Slight Progression

Tomorrow we'll be moving things over to the new home. Tonight was when we received our house key and a copy of finished paperwork. Moving really is a pain.

Hungry

Feeling hungry, there's not much to eat here. Packing is coming along slowly. I need to find all my art pieces and put them together in a new and seperate blog here to keep organized. I don't think that my profile on Gaia would be able to hold them all, there is probably a limit, but Gaia isn't really specific on it so I don't know when I'm pushing the line.

Packing and Cleaning

There isn't much to say, just working on packing everything up. It's going to be like this for a while.

Friday, October 23, 2009

Cleaning

Cleaning cleaning cleaning. In the process of moving, getting rid of what's not needed. Should have done that along the way up to now. But it is what it is.

Step Up to Animations

Same generic day today, but I did a little bit of experimenting with animations. Nothing major, just tiny gif files. Added the little animation for more comic relief. The still image didn't make it seem as comedic, but the blinking hits the spot.

Light Show

No big events today other than heading over to Target to grab some lamps for the new home. With no ceiling lights and all, we had to have some kind of light for us to move around at night. Candles would have been sufficient enough I think, that and it saves a lot of energy. We ended up getting standing lamps and some other light producing items though.

Later on tonight I took a sneak peak behind this dresser that we'll have to end up moving. It was ridiculous back there! There was nothing but thick patches of spider webs, I'm afraid of moving the dresser in fear that a ton of spiders might come crawling up from out of the dark!

New Pieces and Party City

Drawing list is growing again. Not enough, but enough to show something. A few good friends of mine on Gaia gave me some items, I'm very thankful for that. They're such nice people. I'm thinking maybe I'm going to make certain posts for images only of what I draw and what I've received from other people to keep images a little more organized, but first, I'd need to find everything that I've gathered.

The Starcraft plan didn't come along so smoothly. There were a few problems that occurred that I don't really want to go over at this moment. It was unfortunate.

But, good news blooms where other events had been covered in shade. That house spoken of before is now all set for the family. We'll be out and over by around the beginning of next month. There are still some paperworks to be done, but none that should take too long.

What else happened today..oh yes, we headed out to Party City followed by a few other stores in search of Halloween goods. None were all too satisfying since we did just go for a specific costume. A few pictures were taken, but that halted when we went into Spirit. Who would of thought that we couldn't take pictures in there? I managed to sneak a few though, the ones that counted thank goodness.

Way too lazy to rotate them, but at least you're still able to see whats been taken.

Starcraft

Never really played Starcraft yet, but a friend of mine has been bugging me for the longest time to give this a try. I'm going to see what it's about. It only happened because I mentioned to him that I played FF12 Rev. Wings and said I liked that RTS. So he just recommended this to me.

Not much else happened besides sleeping all day, oh and the landlord did call for us to say that the house is about ready. All that's left really is to take care of the paperwork which is for tomorrow.

Dragons and Halloween

Today was break time for drawing. I did however play a little bit of Dragon Quest, and boy was it difficult in the beginning. The characters seemed extremely weak compared to most of the monsters, even while just leveling them up in the first area you're in.

Other than that, there's Halloween to look forward to. I've been invited to a costume party that day and next week, my best friend and I are going to go costume hunting. Since I didn't exactly have a costume in mind, we were just going to do a costume set together. Cher and Sonny. That'll be interesting, but at the same time, it looks like it's going to be fun.

Nothing

Today turned out to be extremely warm. The slow moving day didn't help at all either. It was kind of amazing though, I didn't touch the computer at all this whole day until just now. I had kept myself busy with playing video games and falling asleep for a moment. No drawings had been done yet, or at least maybe so far, I may be working on something later tonight. It has just been such a slow and boring day today, I don't know if I'd have heart to work on anything at all. Bored out of my mind yet I'm not motivated to work on anything.

Cute and Decent

Out of all that I've been working on so far, these is the most decent on the eyes. Slowly moving along, but it's fun.

Practice?

Not doing much today. Just working on my new chibi style that I've picked up. Nothing worthy of showing yet, but something will eventually come up, right?

Bring On the Doodles!

Good news falls upon my lap today. I've found my tablet installation disc. Now I can start doodling random things again. The main program that I did use to draw had been wiped out due to a previous virus that I had, but this old version of Photoshop will have to do for now. Here are two new drawings that I've done today. I haven't drawn in a long while and it looks like I'm trying out a different style from what I usually draw.

The first image I suppose you could say is a narcissistic drawing of myself, although not entirely true. The second of course, follows up on what I've been doing these past few days, playing Final Fantasy 12. The image was set on when you first enter Eruyt Village, and as the group is leaving, Vaan asks Fran an insensitive and disrespectful question, causing the group to verbally bash him. It was soft though, unlike how it was in Tales of the Abyss. Either way, it was all in good fun.

Revenant Wings Black Out?

I woke up today to rain and a blackout. Not some of the best things you look forward to when you wake up. The electricity had been out for quite a long time, about eight hours. When the electricity had come back on, waiting on the internet router to connect took its time as well. I was afraid it would have been out all night.

With the power out, I didn't have many options all by myself. However, I had done something that I absolutely usually never do. Read a book. And, just like past experiences, I would read, but I wouldn't read for long. I got to about chapter four in this book before I stopped and proceeded to wander around the house. The book that I read was A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.

So far it's nice, but a little unpleasant what with the situation that the main character is currently in. I don't know if it's a book that I would read to the end or not. My interest in reading is just very low, but even with that being said, there are books that I've finished. Aside from picture books.

So with all of the Final Fantasy XII I've been playing, I realized I'd never played Revenant Wings. I wanted to give it a try because I had heard it was an RTS (Real time strategy) game, and those are the types of games that I do not touch often. I ended up playing it and so far, this is the second RTS game I've played, and by far, one that I like. The controls are easy to learn, battling is quite fun. You get to issue commands to members in your party and such, having them run all over the battlefield to get rid of fiends to complete your objective.

The main characters from the previous game of course are in this as well, some being controllable characters, and others that just make cameo appearances. I'm not all that far in the game yet, but so far you have Vaan and Penelo, followed by Kytes, and another girl that is part of your beginning group. As you go further into the game, your group expands as you find more people along the journey. I'll dive more into this game another time. I'm not completely all that far enough to say more about it.

Gloomy Day

The first actual gloomy day was today. It was chilly earlier in the day, but that slowly faded away. No rhyme intended, those words just fell out of my head and into the fingers I'm using to type. For a gloomy day in fall, it sure is warm. I'm drowning myself in the Final Fantasy 13 trailer, it looks like it's going to be amazing. June 2010 is the supposed US release? I'm not exactly sure, I'm hearing a lot of things concerning this game. Really excited to the release, hopefully I'd have a Playstation 3 by then. So far, it's just that and Tales of Vesperia that I'd like for the PS3. Maybe in the future some other great titles will show up that I'd want to look into getting.

Digging Up the Years

With thought of moving in mind, the family decided to dig through some of the junk that we have to determine what's important, and what isn't. I cleaned up my room, this being the official first time, meaning, I actually took the time to go through all of the boxes underneath by bed, organize and label everything. Surprisingly, a lot of the papers where pretty much from the first days that I started school. There was a lot to go through, but it was easy since those weren't as important.

Through the hot mess, I found some old drawings. Those drawn by myself, and those that were given to me from a friend. I got to see progression and it was shocking to see how horribly I drew and wrote back in the past. I will say that my penmanship is not great, and that I'm no great artist either. I'll make scans sometime in the future, but not when I just cleaned up and organized everything. Fingers are crossed for that home, I'll finally be out of this house and with my own room possibly.

Potential New Home

I've been playing Final Fantasy 12 lately, so I've not much to say. There are some funny things to mention about that game, but it's late and I'm not exactly in the right mood to dig in my brain for moments that I thought was funny. A lot of pros and cons to be listing about that game, maybe I'll have more of a say when I finish the game. I started new game aside from my other file which was further ahead, but I decided to do a few things different this time with a new game.

Other than playing FF, today, the family went out to see our potential new home. See, the first time that we had been introduced to it was, it looked a whole lot more run down than the current house that we live in today. The landlord didn't even show up the first time, and there were a lot of missing pieces and very haunted looking doors and such. Today however, my parents went to go take another look at the house, low and behold, the landlord was there working on renovations.

They came back home and told us that the landlord would like for the whole family to go over and take a look to see what we think. We ended up going and this time around, the house looked much more nicer than the first time we had seen it. The house had received a new paint job, doors were put in, and a gate was in the process of being built for the backyard. The inside of the home had its spacial moments, but a majority of the rooms were small except for the master bedroom. Of course, those rooms would always be the largest in the house.

I'll talk more about that house if we do indeed move there, the main problem that we're facing is the question of, "are we able to pay the monthly rent?" Costly costly costly home, just like most homes out there right now. It's absolutely difficult facing up to the real world and being introduced to issue after issue, the time for being a carefree child doesn't exist anymore once you're thrown out into the harsh world.

A new source of entertainment arose for me today as well. Mad Gabs. Clever little words put together that make up a phrase or just any other plain and ordinary word. Recommended if you like brain teasers or humorous relief.

With Friend and Potential Animations?

I finally paid a visit to a friend who's been bugging to hang out lately. We duked it out on Mortal Kombat, but we didn't do anything else besides beat each other up in practice mode. Our thumbs got bruised and became absolutely sore while playing and button mashing just to bring out moves. It hurts playing on the Playstation. The directional pad isn't as comfortable and connected as previous game consoles were.

Later on she showed me some kind of anime and showed only a few episodes to me which she called them to be "low budget" and of course, it did appear that way, but it also got me thinking, it looked easy and simple enough, so I thought that maybe in the future I could do some short "low budget" animations like the episode that I saw. There wasn't much animation to it, just characters which occasionally changed in expression, moving through the screen with some kind of background and some sort of dialogue exchange. I'll get to that maybe by the time I eventually make recordings of myself playing video games.

News News News!

Today arrived...the copy of Mortal Kombat 4 that wasn't properly delivered before! It's great, it's fun, it plays well, very few scratches. Although the seller didn't respond by mail, I think that he's listening to his customers one way or the other. For a moment, I was beginning to lose faith in him, but in reality, he pulled through. Now with that part of the excitement over, I'm sure it's okay to say that I'm ridiculously horrible at playing it. I'll maybe upload some videos of my own gameplay, although I'm sure that wouldn't be so attractive. Something that I wished Midway would have done though, is that they should have also had Mortal Kombat Gold available for the Playstation rather than just be on the Dreamcast only. Some of the other character that were available in Gold were my favorites.

Google Letter

Today I received a letter from Google AdSense, and it was from this letter that I realized that earlier in the week, my AdSense ads had been disabled. I had not checked my email until earlier today to discover this. I did notice that I didn't have any ads, but I didn't think much of it really, I thought that it may have been resetting due to the month ending or something, I didn't know. But it turns out that the reason that they were disabled was because of invalid clicks/third party reasons. I have let friends know of this blog, and I have explained to them a little of what AdSense was and such, but how many clicks contributed, if any, I was unaware of.

I'd say either my friends did a majority of the clicks in order to support this blog, or maybe there was someone that had come across this blog and disliked me enough to ruin the ads for me. I'm not saying that everyone likes me, so this, of course, could be a possibility. I reported an appeal earlier today about the ads to see if I could get them enabled again. This time I'd make sure to let friends know of the situation this time as a warning for if enabled again.

I can't say that I would be mad at Google, after all, it's entirely their decision to enable ads to me or not. It's a privilege granted to those on blogger, sometimes it just doesn't work out right. Whether they'll enable their ads to me again or not, I'll respect their decision and continue this blog for my own benefit. It does come in handy actually, especially when it comes to dates and events.

Slow Moving Day

It's not even a Sunday, but today is going by extremely slow. I was taking a look at Playstation 3's and was confused with the gig sizes. I eventually understood a little more about them when I actually did a little bit of research. By the time I get one, if ever, a Playstation 7 is probably going to exist. Honestly, I think that what they're able to pull off with the PS3 and Xbox360 is fine just the way they are, but, more consoles are going to be made in the future. It makes you wonder how the graphics for those future consoles are going to look like. Maybe movie quality with actual people and no more CG. Darn those outrageous prices for these next generation consoles. I just want to enjoy great games at a realistic price affordable by low income families.

Early Hunger and Halloween Spirit

It looks like I've somewhat re-entered the normal sleeping schedule I had while I was still attending school. It's just a few minutes later than what it used to be, but at least it's not into the next morning like its been since I've graduated. I woke up this morning at three, starving. It was strange, I don't usually wake up hungry, and I wasn't hungry before I went to bed because I did eat something after bathing. Odd. I ended up eating a leftover cheeseburger from McDonald's. Bad idea, fast food would usually make someone feel sick, and that's exactly what it had done to me. Other than it being fast food, I tend to get a sick feeling in my stomach when I eat something early in the morning. Even when I was still in school, cereal for breakfast always had me feeling unwell in my stomach. All the stomach aches were taking care of though thanks to special balms.

Later on today, it was grocery shopping time. I think that my city is trying to be all cool now with how they're displaying their Halloween spirit, mainly because they were inspired from a little Mario soda case display that became quite a viral movement in grocery outlets I'm guessing. I took two pictures of what was featured there in Food Maxx, a pumpkin, and a Cactuar like creature in the shape of Texas. Both were quite entertaining to look at, I just wish there would have been more throughout the store to look at. They were only ones placed by the entrance of the store. I had thought there there would be another kind of display towards the soda specific aisle, but unfortunately there was none.

Video Game Classics Tossed With Sleep

Last night I had done something that I haven't done in the longest time. I went to bed before it was well into the next day! I tend to hit the sack early in the morning, but last night I had gone to bed at 11:40 PM. Not sure of how it's going to happen tonight though, whether I'll pull an all nighter again, or head into bed around the same time that I did last night. Only main reason I did go to sleep at that time though was because I didn't get much sleep that day, just four hours at most because I was awakened to go look at a potential home that might be the one my family is moving into. That itself was a disappointment. The house was more run down than what we're currently living in, on top of that, the landlord that said he would be there did not show up at all.

Aside from sleeping on the right time, I dug up the old Sega Genesis. I played that for a while after I was playing with the Super Nintendo and boy do I suck at playing. It's not the controller, it's me. I'm a really sloppy player with those side scrolling beat 'em up series. I played normal and I died so many times on the bosses. I'm losing hope, those videos that I've watched on youtube made it seem so easy to not get hit. They're the game experts, I'm just someone that enjoys playing them.

The Sega is old, so it took many tries booting it up. Because it's so old and has gone through so much, there are specific ways to work it and make it work. I wasn't patient enough to try to play another game, so I just decided to put it away and go do something else.

Optical Illusions and Bad Deliveries

So the day had finally come. The order of Mortal Kombat 4 had finally arrived! But the downfall? No game disc. The game case and instruction manual had made it here just fine, but there was no game at all. I'm quite the unsatisfied customer and disappointed in the seller. Either he didn't check to see if the game was inside, or that was his trick to just earn money, just selling the case. The purchased product was not listed as case only, and you figure that it would come in full. Although it was six dollars, it still irks me that something like this would happen. I was anticipating the delivery so long and when it had finally arrived, there was something missing.

The second item that was ordered made it here just fine, fine condition, everything there. Different seller though thank goodness, I'd be scared to see what the movie would look like if it had been purchased from the same person that MK4 was purchased from.

Aside from today's deliver mishap. I found a viral video of an optical illusion. Magic or mathematics? I believe it to be mathematics due to the three by three square set presented. It was all equal so the chances of which square to be removed would have been absolutely predictable if you thought thoroughly and logically about it. You can find it here. Not sure how long this Yahoo! links will last, I'm sure that they're subject to change in the future or just removed entirely.

Later on today I had found some discussion and arguments for the PC and Mac. These reasons I find to be legit, but that's just me.

"
Macs are better at:
*Music Composition
*Picture Editing
*Movie/Video Editing

PCs are better at:
*Office activities (documents, spreadsheets, etc.)
*Gaming
*Hacking

Anyone who disagrees is purposely looking for a fight."

Bye Bye Sonya

So it would seem that Champions has caught onto my character about it being Sonya Blade, and for copyright reasons, had me change the name. In the beginning, copyrights did not come to mind, and no one usually takes their times to read the terms of agreement. I just made a character that I liked and just wanted to enjoy the game, but what with stingy companies and all, it has become quite difficult to enjoy the game now when you can't really commit to character. I knew that this day would come though, earlier through my gameplay, I had been informed by someone that was in a similar situation and told me that I was going to eventually have to change the name and costume in the future.

I've been waiting for that day to come, and that day turned out to be last night. It wasn't that big a deal, I just feel a little empty in character now though. I couldn't think of a name, but I didn't want to be in further trouble with the game so I just picked some random name and am now stuck with it for the rest of my Champions life. I've lost heart in basing my character off of someone and sort of want to discontinue what I had been doing. They're offering a new power set so possibly I would make a healer from that new power set and recreate a new hero to play as. I don't know though, I'll see in time.

Good Times

Whoo! Just got back from Moanie's home and I must say, it's been a great and fun day. I just wish that the order of Mortal Kombat 4 had come sooner so that we could have played that all day. Being reunited with Pheju and Moanie was a blast, followed by Moanie's dog, Baby. Adorable dog, even more so when we started howling and had her howl along. Moanie ended up borrowing Tales of the Abyss, and I also ended up leaving my memory card behind in the game case. I believe that it's in good hands though. And goodness, her house is amazing. It's so nice inside and out. I'm looking forward to stopping by again.

We played around with the Gamecube, having some fun with Tales of Symphonia, and then moved on to some other random titles. We eventually landed on Resident Evil 4 and that gave us some good jumps and scares. So much better to play when you're around good friends rather than playing it all by yourself. Sure you're still getting easily scared, but the things that they say and do just make the game all the more funnier playing.

I got my first taste at Baten Kaitos today, and I must say, from what I've played so far, I'm actually somewhat glad that I did not purchase it way back when. I was not all in favor of the battle system, and some of the characters just annoyed me. It's too bad that the Gamecube has no more games coming at it, it's all about the Wii now. I thought that the Gamecube was fine, the graphics were not bad at all, I just wish that there were some more RPG games for it.

Looking Forward to Tomorrow!

Oh I'm excited for tomorrow, I'm finally going to get out of the house and pay a visit to some good friends of mine. Arranged play-dates are always fun, I just never manage to do them a whole lot. We'll be playing the Tales series, multiplayer. It's going to be exciting. Much better than being solo with AI that don't always know exactly know what they're doing most of the time.

So I discovered something late, or early? But it's probably late. There's going to be a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street. The trailer can be found here. Gosh, movie producers are really running out of ideas to be remaking great classic horror movies. Out of all the possible movies that could and should be remade, they chose this one? Sometimes it's for the better, but I don't think this was the right movie to remake. I liked the original as is, and from the trailer, it looks worse than the original.

Before the Fame With a Touch of Coffee

Yahoo! articles, oh how nice they are. Filling you with information and news all around the world. Recently I just read an article about Lady Gaga before she had become famous and all that jazz. It's so strange to see her with her natural hair after you've been presented to her as Gaga for a long time. Awkwardly enough, her facial features didn't look so strange back then than they do now. I'd say her nose looked smaller in that video compared to how she is now, her wigs or possibly actual hair just make her look like a dog to me, but I will say that I enjoy her as a performer. I think it's nice to know that there is someone out there in the music industry willing to be daring with how they put out their looks rather than all these other celebrities who just buy expensive clothing from all of those designers not really putting in their own touch to what they wear.

Something else that I read today on Yahoo! is that Starbucks will be having these instant coffee mixes being sold in little pouches. I'm not sure how that would do for them in sales, but I think that instant coffee Starbucks would taste like any other generic brand of coffee that could be store bought. I'm no coffee expert, but I do absolutely love the smell of coffee all around, I haven't had any in mornings for the longest time, mainly because I don't wake up in the morning, but rather, in the afternoon, and at that time, I think it's a not so very great time to be drinking coffee.

Filthy Clean

I was reading an article about "Five Germy Habits" on Yahoo! and realized that in some instances, I don't wash my hands for the moments that could potentially become really dangerous. Say for example, the article talks about how not having clean hands before rubbing your eyes, you could expose your eyes to potential threats such as eye infections from the bacteria on your hands. The person that had written this article explained how his doctor told him to treat his eyes like something sacred and untouchable. Which, I find to be legit, but you just can't help it if you're eyes are feeling itchy or feel like something is in them. It's just a spur of the moment. You just have to tend to the current problem and situation your eyes are facing.

Also what happened today was, I've gotten Mortal Kombat 4 ordered for me! Just a few days until it arrives, I'm excited for it. I hope that the disc is fine and playable. For six dollars, it was a used disc that was in an "acceptable condition." What they find to be in acceptable condition I've yet to discover, but hopefully it's not something horrific and will play just fine. Reviews for the person the game was ordered from had more positive reviews than negative ones, but you can't be too sure until you're experienced how their products are for yourself. If the disc isn't playable, I do hope that I'd be able to contact them, one of the complaints is that they did not respond to emails when customers tried to get hold of the seller.

Also, its come to my attention that I tend to type "Chamion's" rather than "Champions" in my earlier posts. For some reason I must have thought that there was some kind of possession going on and that I just had to have the apostrophe there. So hopefully in the future I won't make the same mistake. I'll leave my earlier posts alone and learn from those mistakes rather than try to hide them and make it seem like I've never even made some kind of mistake.

Fighting Games

Aside from the basic RPGs that I love, I've been craving to play a few fighting games myself. Ever since I've integrated Sonya into Champion's, I've been craving to play some Mortal Kombat. I've been recently binging on Kombat videos all over youtube for the longest time and through related videos, I relived Killer Instinct. I've yet to play any version of Instinct other than the Super Nintendo version, I'm not sure if there were other versions or not, I don't think it's popularity reaches that of Mortal Kombat, Tekken, or Street Fighter, etc status. I only say that because a majority of the people that I do speak to about fighting games usually never mentions Instinct, but all the others ones out there.

Later on this day, I was amazon looking to purchase myself a copy of Mortal Kombat 4, and found some unlikely games from the past labeled as "related." Vagrant Story, and Threads of Fate. Both were great games by Squaresoft for the Playstation back during the 90's. Vagrant Story I thought had interesting gameplay, to this day I'm still somewhat confused with it and don't really understand it since I didn't pay much attention to it, I just enjoyed myself. Since I've yet to play the game in such a long time and didn't think I'd ever get another chance to do so, I ended up watching the ending of the game on youtube and it certainly was a sad one.

Threads of Fate I remember less than VS, but all in all it was fun and a nice action RPG. I loved both characters, each had their own features that either made you like them or hate them. Mint for her magic and funky attitude, and the heroic Rue with his ability to change into monsters that he defeats in battle. Speaking of this, another game came into mind, those of the "of mana" series that I'd like to get in touch with again.

In other news, I've read an article that Namie Amuro may have a new album by the end of this year! I'm quite excited for this album and she's put out two new commercials that feature two new possible tracks that could be on the album, 'Copy That' and 'My Love.' Copy That I think would eventually grow onto me, but the moment that I heard My Love, I was strongly attached to it. I'm looking forward to listening to the full tracks of both songs, hopefully the both of them would be released soon, I'm really looking forward to listening to them!

Hello Panda!

Something that I forgot to mention a few days ago, was that I had this delicious chocolate filled biscuit cookie that I always enjoyed eating growing up. Sure, an Asian snack, but it was tasty nonetheless. Its been an absolutely long time since I've had a pack of them and I sure was delighted to eaten them again. The flavors of these cookies were the generic chocolate and/or strawberry, but those flavors are usually the ones in favor in most sweet snacks. Sadly, none of the flavors intermixed, it was always one or the other.

Character Brought to Life

I finally took screenshots of my character remake of Sonya. The costumes include her clothing from Mortal Kombat 3, the alternate second player color, and her alternate second player clothing from the fourth installment. I'd say this is the best character modeling I've done based on another character in Champion's. Sadly, the hat doesn't allow a ponytail to sprout out of the hat. The ponytail that they did offer was something horrendous and was nothing close to what the actual Sonya had.

I finally got them up, but I didn't exactly feel like editing the screenshots this time, so sorry for the large images other than the thumbnail provided.

Kombat

I still haven't gotten around to taking screenshots of my character recreations yet, I'll eventually get to them though. But lately I've been sticking to one character and haven't been really focusing on making other characters yet. I'm just having more fun playing the game than making characters at this point, it used to be the other way around.

Away from Champion's for a moment, I've been watching gameplay of someone playing Mortal Kombat 4 on youtube and I must say, he or she is a beast. To pull out so many combos so quickly and have very few losses on difficult levels is quite impressive. I can't even go through novice without dying a bunch of times. Click here if you're interested in watching videos of this person playing.

Also someone new that I discovered is ZOMGitsCriss. She's an intelligent atheist with strong logic followed by silly and witty humor. Her accent is quite nice to listen to although most accents I can't stand most of the time.

Oh Lawd

Oh dear, it seems like I missed one day of posting something out of saying that I'd "try to post every single day." I suppose that's what happens when you become addicted to doing something else for the moment, I think Champion's Online is taking control of my life just as World of Warcraft and Ragnarok Online had done so in the past. Well, I wouldn't say take control of my life, I still did other activities and went out when able to, but I did spend a lot of time playing those games.

More Gaming.

Having quite a lot of fun emulating other video game characters into Champion's Online. I'll post up pictures later on tonight or tomorrow.

Rest

Not much was done today, I did however manage to get a whole lot of sleep. Aside from sleeping regularly, I ended up taking a nap for about one hour. That's something I don't do often. I guess my body was more tired than me being tired if that makes any sense.

Champion's Online and Mortal Kombat

So I was a little bored yesterday and started pondering what I should do with Champion's Online. It's fun to play and a nice alternative away from World of Warcraft, but lately, online games aren't really all that appealing to me anymore. They've just lost their touch for me. The big difference and what makes CO more entertaining though, is that they have a large database for character customization, so you have more choices to change your look and not look exactly like someone else unless it's by chance. The gameplay for the both of them are also similar, but for the moment, I'm more used to WoW since I have been playing it for a longer time than I have CO.

Anyway, onto what the title is about. I had a talk with my friend and was show
ing her some pictures of Mileena, a Mortal Kombat character, that I enjoyed playing in the beginnings of the Mortal Kombat series. I ended up making a character as close to her as I could, it's close, but of course, CO doesn't have every single piece of clothing that you need. And the result:

The image on the left is the character that I made, and the image on the right is the "blueprint" that I used for recreating her. It's not as close as I'd like it to be, but it doesn't look extremely ridiculous either.

I'm thinking that I may recreate more characters on CO, not just from MK, but from other games as well. Just need to figure out who I'd like to run around as first.

Now for some off topic goods. Remember how I was going on and on about Kanye's incident? Apparently there's a website for it now. A lot of comic relief is there, but some images weren't as funny as they could have been as they were not worded right and ended in "best EVER" instead of "of ALL TIME!" Either way, have a look and enjoy. It sure made me laugh. Link: http://imaletyoufinish.com/

"The Worst Foe Lies Within the Self"

Another day, another parody of Kanye's incident. There's plenty of those flying around and frankly, I think that it's going to last a few more weeks before it dies. References will always come up here and there, they usually do when some type of event like this happens. Or just any big event in general, just take a look at Michael Jackson's death. Ever since that time, more mysteries surrounding him have popped up and more and more media have taken on it. He was all over the news for an absolutely long time, but it's also because of his reputation, that's why it had gone on for so long.

Memories of the past came up for me today, a game that I very well enjoyed during the first Playstation era. Parasite Eve. I began watching the playthrough today on youtube and it sure brought back nice memories from the time that I did play it. At the time the graphics were really nice for a new age console, but compared to what we're pulling out today, it looked really bad. Most people argue gameplay over graphics, I'd like both to be fairly equal with each other. I'd like to enjoy what I'm playing, but I'd also like to enjoy what it is I'm looking at. Either way, it was an excellent game. It was rated M, but had nice RPG elements implemented into it which I thought was a little more interesting for it. Even though the battle style was somewhat turn based like Final Fantasy games, I was still quite the little chicken when it comes to playing any game that's horror, no matter how it's made. I guess you could say that the atmosphere of the game and it's music is what gave me the chills. Squaresoft did an amazing job with it. Actually, Squaresoft made a lot of great games, when it joined up with Enix, the quality of the games they were making weren't so great to me. The storyline was more along the lines of science, what with mitochondria taking over our bodies and whatnot. Music composition was lovable, and the intro movie before game start was amazing. First Steps

Here comes the first post of this long journey that is known as blogger/blogspot, what have you. New and first post since account creation and looking to see how long I'm able to keep this alive. Although my life is quite boring, I'm attempting to make entries from everyday followed by pictures to not make the posts that I make seem so boring. Profile and blog editing to come in the future, first things first, I have to figure out this site a little more before I could make more bold approaches. Looking forward to finding some great blogs and some great people. Occasionally I may make a vlog or voice baton, depending on my mood. Put a little more spice on my blog. So. Lets connect and have a blast. /end cheesy entry

I find myself to still be immature no matter how mature some people may think me to be. In time, I believe that I will have matured more than I am now and surely, it will show in the posts that I make, the changes in my appearance, and the changes in everything else.

In addition to starting up today, a couple of entertaining things had happened upon me. First of all, I managed to see Namie Amuro's BEST FICTION Tour 2009 through youtube before Avex got rid of them all, and boy do they work fast. The tour itself I found quite great, poor Namie was tired through her performances and it showed. Nonetheless she did an amazing job and pushed through her exhaustion. I enjoyed each and every performances, but the ones that I looked forward to the most and enjoyed the most were 'Do Me More' and 'White Light.' Two songs that I absolutely love from that BEST album.

Aside from all of that, a friend of mine showed me a picture that I found hilarious. A parody from Kanye West's disrespectful and foolish move towards Taylor Swift at this year's Video Music Awards. Quite entertaining to me, I do apologize if anyone finds this to be offensive. That about wraps up this first post unless I make more entries tonight. I'm not sure yet but we'll see how that goes. Until next time then.
